We're a Japanese language group in Scotland, which provides a friendly place to practice your Japanese language (at any level).
 
Are you a Japanese person in Scotland for the first time? Our members want to meet you - we'd love to share our culture with you. And help you navigate life in Scotland, and practice native English.

Also, maybe you're a skilled Japanese speaker, and interested in teaching Japanese to English Speakers? This is the place!

We meet up in person every season for our HitoBito Meeto days. We meet in an area of Scotland to learn about culture, practice language, and take part in little events (with food and drinks). Its very relaxed, and because we all help each other, so any (if any) ability welcome!


If you want to practice speaking English or Japanese, we meet on our private Discord server on Saturdays (1100 Scotland / 1900 Japan). These are semi-structured, and with our international members. If you haven't used Discord before, we'll help you setup this simple and popular app. 

Because we are in Scotland, many of our members are most interested in learning Japanese. So we always try to balance everything equally, especially for those new to English.
